Annika Lückebergfeld was born in Bielefeld/Germany in 1981
and is one of the most successful German mandolinists.

She has studied mandolin with Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg, Prof. Marga
Wilden-Hüsgen and Gertrud Tröster at the College of Music Cologne
(Department Wuppertal/Germany) and completed her instrumental
teaching diploma and two artistic performance diplomas with honours.
In 2007 she received a full-scholarship at the Berklee College of Music in
Boston/USA, where she studied mandolin performance with
Prof. John McGann.

Annika Lückebergfeld is first-prize winner of numerous national and
international music
competitions and holds a concert scholarship of
"Yehudi Menuhin, Live-Music-Now e.V."
As a sought after player she teaches on international festivals in whole Europe, so e. g. in France, Greece, Austria, Russia etc.
Moreover, she was a guest lecturer at the Berklee College of Music
in Boston/USA.
She regularly conducts orchestras. In 2007 she conducted the first
perfomance of ìRapsodia Vissaniî from the Bulgarian composer Rossen
Balkanski in Greece. Since 2008 she conducts the state orchestra of Northrhine-Westphalia (JZO/B NRW), an orchestra with the best young mandolin and guitar players of the state.
